Notice at collection. This site is operated by a California licensed restoration contractor, CSLB #1047297. We collect personal information from you only when you give it to us — by calling (833) 675-5336, or by typing it into the chat assistant on this site — and we use it to answer your question and to schedule and confirm a free inspection.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no fee or penalty for exercising any right described below.
What we collect
- Identifiers
- Your name, the phone number you give us, and an email address if you provide one.
- Contact information
- The phone number or email you want us to use to reach you, and the time window you ask us to call.
- Property address
- The street address, unit number or ZIP code of the property you want inspected. We ask for it so a crew can be routed to the right place.
- Chat transcript
- The messages you type into the assistant, the assistant's replies, and the page you were on. Anything you type is stored with the request.
- Technical information
- Your browser's user-agent string, a hashed form of your IP address and a session identifier. These are used to keep the assistant working and to stop automated abuse — not to profile you.
We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's licence numbers, insurance policy or claim numbers, bank details or payment card numbers. Please do not type them into the chat.
Why we collect it
- To answer your question about water damage restoration in La Crescenta and the surrounding area.
- To schedule a requested arrival window for a free inspection, and to call you back to confirm it. A request made in the chat is a requested window, never a confirmed appointment — we confirm every inspection by phone.
- To keep a record of the request so it is not lost between the chat and the crew.
- To protect the site from automated abuse.
By sending your phone number you agree that we may call or text you about your request. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
Who processes it
We do not sell or rent your information. It is handled by a small number of service providers that work on our behalf, under contracts limiting them to that purpose:
- An artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic). The messages you type into the assistant, and the page context, are sent to Anthropic's API so the assistant can answer. The assistant is automated software, not a person; a real person answers the phone 24/7.
- Twilio. Used to place the voice call or send the text message that tells our office a new inspection request has come in, and to contact you about your request.
- Cloudflare. Hosts this site, the assistant and the database the request is stored in.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. That is the complete list of categories of third parties we disclose personal information to.
How long we keep it
- Chat transcripts: 90 days, then deleted.
- Inspection requests and lead records (name, phone, property address, what you described): 180 days, then deleted, unless the work went ahead and a longer period is required for our business and tax records.
- Hashed IP addresses and abuse counters: 30 days.
Your California rights
If you are a California resident you may ask us to tell you what personal information we have collected about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for asking. You may use an authorised agent. We verify a request by matching the phone number or address used to make it against our record of the request, and we respond within 45 days.
How to make a request
- Call (833) 675-5336 and say you want your information deleted.
- Or email [email protected] with the phone number you used and the property address, and say what you want done.
Mailing address for privacy correspondence is available on request from the office line above. Our contractor licence, CSLB #1047297, can be looked up on the California Contractors State Licence Board website.
Do Not Track
This site does not track you across other websites, and it does not serve third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Because there is no industry-standard response to a browser's "Do Not Track" signal, we do not respond to one; we simply do not do the tracking it asks us to stop.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, call (833) 675-5336 and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
